Types of credit cards from Woolworths

Standard and platinum Woolworths credit cards

If you're approved for a credit limit of $6,000 or more, you'll be able to enjoy more benefits with a Woolworths Everyday Platinum and Woolworths Qantas Platinum credit card. But if you're approved for a credit limit of less than $6,000, you will be issued with a Woolworths Everyday Card that does not offer platinum benefits.

Rewards credit cards

The Woolworths Everyday Platinum Credit Card earns 3 credit card points per $1 spent on Woolworths Select and Woolworths brand products, 2 points per $1 on purchases at Woolworths Supermarkets, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Cellarmasters, Big W and participating Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets and 1 point per $1 spent for all other eligible purchases. These credit card points are automatically converted to Woolworths Shopping Cards every 4 months, with a minimum of 4,000 points equal to a $20 shopping card you can use at participating Woolworths group stores.

The Woolworths Everyday Platinum also includes complimentary purchase security insurance and exclusive discounts at Woolworths Group retailers.

Frequent flyer credit cards

You can use the Woolworths Qantas Platinum Credit Card to earn Qantas Points on everyday purchases. This card offers 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent at Woolworths Group stores and 0.5 points per $1 spent on other eligible purchases.

Other benefits include complimentary travel insurance, a concierge service and exclusive discounts at Woolworths Group retailers. You can also earn additional Qantas Points when you link your Everyday Rewards account to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account and opt-in to earn Qantas Points for your shopping at Woolworths.

Balance transfer credit cards

Save on interest costs and repay an existing debt faster with a Woolworths credit card that offers a low or 0% introductory balance transfer rate. At the end of the introductory period, any remaining debt will attract the card's standard cash advance interest rate.

Low fee credit cards

Woolworths credit cards sometimes offer promotional $0 or reduced annual fees in the first year. You can compare the annual fees in the comparison table above for the latest offers. When looking at the rewards and frequent flyer credit cards, the standard annual fees are often competitive when compared to other cards in this category.

The benefits of Woolworths credit cards

Some of the perks you can enjoy with a credit card from Woolworths include:

  • Get 10% off at Woolworths once per month on selected dates

Each month, you'll receive an email regarding the offer period to get 10% off your shop at Woolworths when you scan the barcode on the back of your credit card and pay with it. This offer is available for spending up to $500, which means you can get a maximum of $50 off your shop. Keep in mind that this offer is not available in Tasmania and also excludes spending on certain items. You can also discover more discounts with our Woolworths coupon codes.

  • Everyday Rewards

If you link your Everyday Rewards account with a Woolworths credit card, you can also use it to collect Everyday Rewards points when you shop at participating Woolworths, BWS and Big W stores, as well as at participating Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets. All you'll have to do is scan the membership barcode on the back of your credit card before paying for your shopping to earn points for your Everyday Rewards account. This is in addition to the Qantas Points or credit card points you earn when paying with your credit card.

  • Earn more Qantas Points when you spend

If you're a member of Everyday Rewards and choose to earn Qantas Points instead of Everyday Rewards points, you'll get 1,000 frequent flyer points for every 2,000 Everyday Rewards points you earn. Apply for the Woolworths Platinum Qantas Credit Card and you can also rack up Qantas Points per $1 spent on all eligible purchases.

  • Enjoy 50% off selected wine cases at Cellarmasters

Pick a selected white, red or mixed case and pay for it online using your Woolworths credit card to take advantage of 50% off the regular price. Note that delivery charges will still apply.

  • Save with up to 10% off Woolworths Insurance

Use your Woolworths credit card to pay for a new Woolworths Car, Home, Pet or Travel Insurance policy to save up to 10% on the cost. When you're signing up for the policy, you'll also need to enter the first six digits of your credit card number in the promo code field. You can then enjoy the applicable discount for the life of the policy, as long as you pay with your valid Woolworths credit card.

      Hi HH,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

Any withdrawal from your account will be considered as a Cash Advance which will incur a fee amounting to $5 or 3% of the value of the transaction, whichever is the greater, applies to each cash advance made on your account, debited to your account at the time of the cash advance.
Please you’ll still be charged cash advanced FEE but not cash advance interest

      Hope this information helped.

      Cheers,
      Arnold
