Whether it's the promise of sunshine or the chance to play with bold colours and prints, but spring has to be one of the funner seasons for fashion. And after 18 months of going in and out of lockdown, we're ready to fold away the tracksuit pants and flex some new 'fits. We've already rounded up the biggest fashion and accessory trends to wear this spring but if you're still struggling to decide what to wear, we've got you. From cute cottagecore to Y2K nostalgia, we've found nine easy outfits that'll work come rain or shine during the warmer months.

The whimsical cottagecore trend that bloomed last year is here to stay. This includes flowing linen dresses, voluminous sleeves and romantic prints in soft white and pastel shades. Basically anything that'll transport you to a rustic farmhouse from yesteryear. Complete the outfit with some dainty gold chains, a pair of hoops and a cane basket handbag.

The 'French girl aesthetic' you've seen all over Pinterest encompasses many looks, but it loosely translates to anything effortlessly cool and chic. For a spring take on the style, pair a white tank with a pastel midi skirt and a cute handbag. Don't forget the silk scarf and oval tortoise sunglasses to really nail that "holidaying on the French Riviera" look.

The cooler months are over but we're not ready to get rid of comfy knits just yet. Instead of cosy jumpers, throw on a knitted summer dress, mini skirt or matching set during the warmer months.

A distant cousin of monochromatic dressing, colour blocking is v on trend this spring. It's pretty easy to pull off too. Select two or three complimentary colours and coordinate your outfit and accessories within this palette. If you're short on ideas, baby pink and red, purple and green as well as blue and orange are trending colour combos to play with this season.

If you're not ready to give up loungewear just yet, swap your trackies and sweats out for a pair of loungewear shorts and a ribbed tank or t-shirt. If you're feeling a little more fancy, try a short and button up set in a linen or terry material instead.

After 18 months inside, 2021 spring fashion is all about fun, nostalgic and OTT 'fits. That means brights colours and playful patterns that we rocked in the 90s and 00s are back. We're talking checkerboard, swirls, tie-dye and patchwork prints. If you're stuck, just think "What would Lizzie McGuire do?" and go from there.

From the classic blue and white pinstripe, to pastel shades and vibrant colour blocking, boyfriend shirts are all the rage right now. Not only are button down shirts super comfortable and chic, they're easy to style too. Pair it with some denim shorts, tuck it into some mom jeans or, if it's long enough, chuck a belt on and rock it as a shirt dress a la Carrie Bradshaw.

The likes of Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid have been spotted wearing crochet outfits and bucket hats recently, which means we need it on our bodies immediately. It's a cute nod to 1970s boho fashion and is super breathable, making it perfect for those warm spring days.

2000s fashion is back in a big way this year. In fact, we did an entire write up of iconic 00s trends that you can pull off in 2021. For a classic and simple nod to the 00s, chuck on a pair of low rise jeans, a baby tee and a pair of tinted sunglasses. Loves it.
