Ask an Expert
Hi! I note that the CruiseDirect is a USA site dealing in US dollars. Will they accept bookings from Australia and is there additional costs in dealing with this site as well as costs involved in the currency exchange, above the normal conversion rate to US dollars? Thank you.
Hi Tim,
Thank you for reaching out.
Yes, CruiseDirect is a US based company but they accept bookings world wide. They will only charge you for whatever the fee of your fare is plus an international surcharge which you will see before you confirm your booking. If you will pay using your card, then you may need to check with your bank the charges when you pay a booking in USD and check the conversion fee, exchange rate, etc.
Hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
Mai
