Expert review

The Citi Rewards Mastercard is linked to a flexible rewards program and offers 1 point per $1 spent on eligible purchases, with a high points cap of $10,000 per statement period on your domestic spending (but no cap for overseas spending). The 100,000 bonus points offer currently available is competitive with other rewards credit cards, and gives you more than enough to cover the annual fee. As well as digital gift cards from brands like Coles, Woolworths and Bunnings, you can use these points to get credit back on your account for almost anything through Pay with Points, shop directly at Kogan.com or even transfer them to a partner frequent flyer program.

With this card, you can also earn points on bills and other larger payments that don’t usually collect points, thanks to the Citi PayAll platform. As well as rewards, you can take advantage of complimentary purchase cover and extended warranty cover for eligible items you buy, and get a complimentary bottle of wine when you dine with Citibank Dining Program partners and pay with this card.
