      Hi Tank,

      Thank you for your question.

Just to confirm, are you referring to a foreigner who is currently living outside Australia? If so, I’m afraid that foreigner may not be able to get the card, as the MasterCard Cash Passport is available to people in Australia only. Aside from that, you can only loan AUD onto the card and then convert them to the supported currencies listed above.

      Cheers,

Hi I noticed that Citibank plus is not on here to compare, could you tell me the difference between 28 degrees and Citibank plus card for traveling to the USA and would you know if there are any ATMs that are affiliated with either of them

      Hi Stella,

      Thanks for your question.

You can see our review page on Citibank Plus Everyday Card.

Citigroup is represented in the United States, so you should be able to use your Citi Transaction Account without being charged an ATM withdrawal fee. However, as the 28 Degrees MasterCard is a credit card, unless your preload it with funds, you’ll incur a cash advance fee when withdrawing funds from an ATM.

      I hope this has helped.

      Cheers,

      Sally

I have returned from overseas and still have a considerable amount of money left on my cash passport card. Rather than withdraw the cash and close the card, can I use it to purchase items from Australian stores and if so, will I be charged a fee?

      Hi Suzie,

      Thanks for your question.

So long as you’ve transferred your leftover funds back into your Australian dollars currency wallet, you shouldn’t be charged a fee. However, if you leave your funds in a foreign currency, you’ll be charged a currency conversion fee.

      I hope this has helped.

      Cheers,

Can I pick my own pin for the card

      DeeMay 23, 2016Staff

      Hi Paul,

      Thanks for your comment.

Please note that finder.com.au is an online comparison service and is not the issuer of Cash Passport Travel Card.

Unfortunately, you can’t pick or change your Cash Passport PIN. Each card is already allocated with its own PIN. Please note that the PIN may be disabled if you have incorrectly entered it for three (3) times.

I hope this answers your question.

      Cheers,
      Anndy
