      Hi, Paul!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It’s possible under some circumstances and it would be best to check directly with the card issuer to know your chances of approval.

You may find useful information on our page about doing a balance transfer with joint primary cardholders.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers!

Can I transfer a balance from Virgin money and St.George to Bank of South Aust.

      Hi Gwenda,

      Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, a balance transfer from a St. George credit card to any BankSA credit card is not allowed. However, you can request a BT from your Virgin Money credit card to BankSA Vertigo Visa so long that you meet the eligibility criteria and requirements of the BankSA credit card. Also when conducting a balance transfer, it’s best to remember these two conditions:

      1. You can’t transfer a balance to a credit card that is also underwritten by the same institution – for your reference, please read our balance transfer criteria guide to know which banks you can balance transfer to and from.

      2. The total amount you can transfer should not exceed the credit limit you’re approved for the new card.

      Hope this has helped.

      Cheers,
      May
